Covid-19 Update

November 7th, 2020

Please note that Wynn Fitness Club Meadowvale WILL BE OPEN for workouts on Monday, November 9th as planned.

We will of course obey all occupancy restrictions laid out by the government, which will lead to certain bottlenecks when you are booking your workout spot. You will see 2 options on the app when booking your workouts, please choose the one that applies to you each time you are booking an appointment. In order to allow everyone a chance to book a spot, you will be able to book ONE workout spot for every 2 days.

Important – Prior to each workout (same day), as per government guidelines you are required to fill out a quick questionnaire confirming that you are cleared to visit the club. Members without a booked appointment or missing questionnaire will NOT be allowed to enter the club.
We will continue offering the below programs, please note that you do NOT need to book an appointment in the app if you are coming to the club for a PT/PTA appointment (your trainer or PTA will ensure you have a guaranteed spot):
1. The Wynn Physio clinic will still be open and operating for both existing and new clients. If you would like more information on this program please email [email protected]wynnfitness.com
2. If you are part of our Personal Training program, you may access the facility with your trainer for a scheduled training session. For more information about Personal Training programs please email [email protected]com
The Wynn Fitness app also has a variety of On-Demand Fitness classes at your fingertips.  These classes are accessible for every current member of Wynn Fitness.

As per the latest government imposed restrictions, our clubs located at 2737 Keele Street and 6750 Mississauga Rd. will be closed as of the end of business today, October 9th.

All memberships have been put on hold.

All members that have passed their initial one year obligation period will have no further payments until the club reopens, no action is required.

All members that are within their first year obligation period can continue to make payments and will be given a time credit that is equal to the time that the fitness club remains closed.  Alternatively, these members can also defer their payments and extend their obligation period past the first year by emailing [email protected]wynnfitness.com

During the closure, all Wynn Fitness members will be able to enjoy access to live digital fitness classes as well as hundreds of on-demand workouts.  Also included are daily in-home workouts provided via the Wynn Fitness mobile app.

As York region finally enters Stage 3 of Ontario’s reopening plan, we are looking forward to welcoming you back to the Richmond Hill club.

Wynn Fitness Richmond Hill will REOPEN FOR WORKOUTS on Monday, July 27th AT 6am.

Please note some important changes for what we will call “PHASE 1” of our club reopening. We are hoping to be able to gradually loosen some of the restrictions as the government allows it.

Temporary New Opening Hours: 6am to 11pm Monday to Friday & 8am to 6pm on weekends and Holidays

What can you expect when you return to the club for the first time?


1. Online booking: All members will need to book an appointment prior to their workout. Please look out for a separate email coming from “Technogym MyWellness” that will prompt you to set up an account with our Wynn Fitness app (please check your spam folder).  If you do not receive an email to setup your app account please email [email protected]

 a. You will have a 75-minute time slot for each club visit and you can book up to 7 days in advance. Equipment has been spaced out and/or removed where necessary to ensure social distancing guidelines

b. Please wear a mask entering and exiting the club and while speaking to any of our staff members. The mask may be removed during your workout

c. You will scan your card and we will take a quick temperature check at reception

d. You will then sanitize your hands and enter the club 


2. More cleaning: All staff have been trained to ensure high-traffic areas are constantly being cleaned. We have added high-quality electrostatic spray machines in each club. These machines apply an even coating and can disinfect large areas safely and quickly. The club will also have a midday deep-clean each day when there are no workout bookings from 2.15pm to 3pm.


Please note that we will also count on each and every member to do their part to clean all equipment before and after use. Many extra cleaning and hand sanitizing stations have been added throughout the club.


3. New signage: You will see social distancing signage and arrows throughout the club in order to ensure proper social distancing, particularly in high traffic areas. Do your best to follow the signage and remember to be kind to each other as everyone gets used to the “new normal”.


4. Limited services: Based on current government guidelines and in order to minimize the risk of transmission for staff and members, we will not be providing towels, showers, hair dryers or steam rooms for Phase 1 of the opening. Water fountains will only be available for bottle fill-ups.


5. Group Fitness: We will continue to offer online classes and expand on those offerings, since spots for live classes will be very limited based on current distancing guidelines. The number of live classes will be limited during Phase 1, classes will resume on Tuesday, August 4th.


6. Physical barriers: Plexiglass barriers have been installed at our reception desk and office desks to avoid close contact between members and staff. 


7. Protective equipment: All staff will be required to wear a mask while on duty. Wynn Fitness is providing these items to all staff members.


8. Be kind: This continues to be a very challenging time for everyone, please remember to be patient and kind to each other

We have missed you and hope that you have been staying healthy and safe!  Our apologies for the long “radio silence”, however we were (and are) waiting like everyone else for the government to release more specific details on their new regional opening approach.

We are currently working with an estimated reopening range of mid-July. As soon as we have more precise details, we will share them with you.

We are looking forward to welcoming you back into our clubs and have been very busy in the background working on all the new safety measures and protocols that will be in place when you return. Look out for more specific details over the next few weeks to be posted on Social Media channels and website.

We have made the very difficult decision to close all Wynn Fitness Clubs, effective tonight (March 16th), until further notice.

Like many other businesses across the country, we are following the best advice of public health officials and are closing all operations in order to further limit the spread of this virus and to protect the most vulnerable in our communities.

We have heard from many of you that working out with us has been the one “happy” thing you were still able to do. We will support you as best we can through this challenging time, by providing valuable home workout and meditation sessions to support your physical and mental well-being. Please follow us and tune into our social media channels where our team will keep you engaged in creative ways to stay active in the comfort of your own home, and outside in the fresh air.
