Circuit Training Classes
You just can’t be bored when you do circuit training. It is a challenging, diverse workout which utilizes several types of equipment, it gets your heart rate up, and strengthens your muscles at the same time.
Circuit training is a full body workout where you’ll typically quickly move through 8-10 exercise stations focusing on different muscle groups with little to no rest between stations. Each station has a different exercise; you may do kettlebell swings or work the battle ropes for 60 seconds.
It is usually about 10-25 reps at each station, lasting between 30 seconds and 3 minutes, and then you move on to the next station.
This type of workout is designed to strengthen your body through muscle confusion and interval training. It can be modified to suit all fitness levels; so if you are just starting, trying to get back into it, or want to supplement your current program, the Circuit class can be a great option for you.
USEFUL TIPS: Hydrate well before the class and also bring a bottle of water with you. Please arrive on time and let your instructor know if it’s your first time.
